The Roam Collective offers financial and logistical support to under-represented folks in the mountain bike community through programming and partnerships.
OUR 2024 PROGRAMS
ROAM BIPOC FELLOWSHIP
The Roam BIPOC Fellowship offers riders who identify as Black, Indigenous and/or a person of color the opportunity to enjoy a sense of camaraderie, belonging and community building while bike-partying (yew!) at Roam Fest

The Roam BIPOC Fellowship is focused on building intentional, accessible and welcoming spaces.

ROAM ROWDIES
In collaboration with athlete and advocate Brooke Goudy, Roam Rowdies was created to foster connections and elevate + center Black women in the mountain bike and outdoor communities and to celebrate Black joy in mountain biking..
​
Chosen applicants ("Rowdies") will receive financial support join Brooke at both Roam Fest, including during a skills day with Yeti Cycles pre-event, and GRIT Fest, as well as a stipend to host their own community event back home.
ROAM PARA + ADAPTIVE
Roam Para + Adaptive bridges the gap between current recreation offerings at outdoor events and normalizes the incorporation of adaptive and para programing and accessibility in mountain biking by offering para and adaptive athletes the opportunity to attend Roam Fest, with the support of partner organizations.
ROAM MEDIA CORE
The Roam Media Core provides opportunities for up and coming writers, photographers, and content creators to learn from experienced professional mentors in a real-time action sports environment at Roam Fest, the world’s biggest femme-focused mountain bike party.

50% of intern spots are reserved for BIPOC creatives.
SHREDtalks PANEL
The Roam SHREDtalks Panel brings industry trailblazers to the stage to talk all things community, representation and diversity in mountain biking during an inspirational + conversational idea shred sesh.
Panelists are chosen and moderated by The Roam Collective's Director of Inclusion Programs and come from a wide array of backgrounds.
